Help at the Community Centre
We are always looking for enthusiastic people to get involved with the centre. We have many different oppurtunities here and a variety of ways you can get involved with what we are doing. I.T. Assistants
We are currently looking for confident, patient, approachable volunteers who are interested in helping tutor people on the internet. This will be a very rewarding position as you will help others gain confidence on the internet and we can also put you through relevant NVQ training courses to support you. This voluntary role is to start as soon as possible. If you feel you have the skills we would love to hear from you.
Reception
We are looking for someone to help on reception one morning a week on a Wednesday between 11am and 1.30pm. Previous experience isn't required but you would need to be confident using a computer.
D.I.Y. Volunteer
We are looking for someone to help with D.I.Y. jobs around the centre, from painting and decorating to fitting vents and putting up shelves. Some experience would be good but an interest to learn would also be fine.
Events Committee
We are currently looking for local people to come and join an events committee. We are hoping to set up lots of great regular events in the community centre for the community. From afternoon Tea Dances for the elderly to DJ's and VJ's we want your help. If you are interested into imputting to these events by helping to organise them, making decorations or just telling us what you would like them to be like please get intouch at the email at the top of the page.
Calling Creatives
We are also looking for any creative people who would like to help design and make decorations for future events here at the centre. It's a great opportunity to get involved with what is happening in your community.
Easton Community Centre are looking for creative people who
enjoy decorating to come and decorate the mens toilets.
Help us Get Organised!
Do you like things organised?, if so this could be the volunteer job for you! We need a volunteer to help organise our D.I.Y. storage cupboard. We would like a cupboard where everything has a place. We would also like the volunteer to create an inventory of what is in the cupboard and a borrow book so we can keep a track of where things are. If this is something you think you would enjoy doing please don't hesitate to contact us.
