Adjacent to the Easton Community Centre, beside the Bristol to Bath cycle path is a community garden, called The Corner Garden which has recently been awarded £9200 from SITA through the Greenprints programme to develop this space. The Easton Community Centre manages the garden and has recently appointed a brilliant Project Manager, Beth Astle to develop twelve educational events over one year targeted at 16 – 25 year olds but open to all, commencing in May 2008 with the aim to accredit the volunteers with ecological related qualifications i.e. NVQ, NCFE and ASDAN.
